My RX7 on BaT
|
nice car
one thing initial D did get right, and fast and furious got wrong, was that the RX7 is the true Japanese hero car, not the supra. |
I thought this was the one, the only, the dreamcar/keeper?

That's a great looking RX-7!

yeah thats a big old nope. the 80s supra is even worse than the 90s supra. what, 3700lbs? seats that weight 70 pounds each? the car is like driving a sofa down the road. my friend has a 1jz swapped 80s supra, and its not even a match for my 944, much less a 911. and the 1jz is significantly more powerful and reliable than the stock turbo motor. |

Matt, that car presents very well, and the auction description also reflects very well on you as an owner!
Nicely done and good luck! |
Was this longer than 15 months? :) I didn't even know you had this until you bought the last boxster! You could have at least rebuilt the suspension! ;)
Good luck with your sale. Keep us posted! G |

Burp to the top for Matt... |
The 2jz turbo is the hero motor
That is a very nice RX7, wish I were in the market for a car. |

one of the worst engines toyota ever made. besides the 1zz-fe. i think that goes down as one of the worst engines anyone has ever made though. Quote:
to bad they put them in the porker of a supra. the rx7 meanwhile was FRS light, with 300hp, rotary .... |

Hanging my head in shame.... |
The rotary blows though. The FD deserves a glorious engine like an LS, for example.

As you can imagine, being my Father's former car, I am following this with interest.
Some of the comments being posted are so stupid I have been tempted to log in give'em what 'fer. Nice job Matt! |
