Non-PC comment made on TV and he got away with it?
I was watching the petit le Mans race last weekend on FS1.
Near the end of the TV coverage, the two commentators were discussing some fast boat and one asked the other if he would take a ride in it. The older guy said "I'D RATHER GET A LAP DANCE FROM CHAZ BONO THAN RIDE IN THAT THING". The first guy choked up and got really flabbergasted, and eventually came back with "I don't know what to say to that". He knew. I immediately thought oh no, that old dude is screwed, there goes his career. The bleeding hearts will hang him for sure. But .... nothing happened. No outrage, no stories on the web, nothing. Just crickets chirping. Maybe the 'Mo's don't watch road racing, maybe they don't know about the fox sports channel maybe they are too busy inciting race riots across the country. Who knows. But I figure that guy really dodged a bullet and I'm just fine with that. |

Funny Stuff Sammy - Usually, sports announcers sounds like blabbering idiots. But then, I probably would to if I had to talk non-stop for 3-4 hours.

I've heard some stunningly sexist stuff out of steve douchey on fox mornings over the years and i'm not sure he ever has been called out on it properly.

That was Tommy Kendall and I too thought that might put him in a bit of hot water, but I guess he doesn't really need the TV gig.
Did it make the highlight show?
