Clearing out one of our storage spaces
The company I work for has a small warehouse space that they have been leasing for way too long. The rent they have paid far exceeds the total value of everything in there.
I have decided to clear it out and vacate prior to the end of the year. In the process, I am going to be finding stuff that I hate to throw away, but that I can't justify continuing to store in preparation for the arrival of Cthulhu. So, assuming there is no protest, I will try to post of some of the stuff for Pelicans to have first dibs on prior to making eBay ads. My idea is that if there is something you are interested in, send me a PM with an offer. If the offer seems fair to me, then the item is yours... HOWEVER there is one catch: YOU have to pay the shipping. |
First up, I found two vacuum tubes wrapped safely in a box.
Both are to be considered "condition unknown". If you are interested, let me know. First: Markings mostly missing. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1475960559.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1475960593.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1475960613.jpg Second: 6080WA Glass octal type used as a regulator tube in dc power supply units and in projection tv booster scanning applications. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1475960644.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1475960669.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1475960687.jpg |
What kind of stuff?
|
Ah, that kind of stuff.
|
Next, a small tray full of other vacuum tubes
All are to be considered "condition unknown". If you are interested, let me know. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1475960895.jpg Qty: 2 Sylvania 6L6GC Glass-octal type used in the output stage of audio amplifying equipment, especially units designed to have ample reserve of power-delivering ability. Qty 2 RCA 5U4GB Full Wave Rectifier Qty 1 Tung Sol 6L6WGB Beam power Pentode Glass-octal type used in the output stage of audio amplifying equipment, especially units designed to have ample reserve of power-delivering ability. Qty 1 RCA 6005/6AQ5W/6095 Beam Power Pentode Miniature type used as output amplifier primarily in automobile receivers and in ac-operated receivers. Within its maximum ratings, the performance of the 6AQ5 is equivalent to that of larger types 6V6 and 6V6GT. Qty 1 Sylvania 0A2 Voltage Regulator - Gas Miniature type cold-cathode, glow-discharge tube used in voltage regulator applications. Qty 1 Syvania "Gold Brand" 6136 Sharp-Cutoff Pentode Miniature type used in compact radio equipment as an rf amplifier especially in high-frequency, wide-band applications. It is also used as a limiter tube in FM equipment. Qty 2 GE (one is red label, one is green label) 5814A Medium-Mu Twin triode Miniature type used in a wide variety of applications including mixers, oscillators, multivibrators and synchronizing amplifiers in industrial controll equipment. Qty 1 Sylvania 5726/6AL5W Twin Diode Qty 4 GE JG6100/6C4WA Medium Mu Triode Qty 5 Sylvania 6BH6 Sharp-Cutoff Pentode Miniature type used as rf amplifier particularly in ac/dc receivers and in mobile equipment where low heater current drain is important. Next.... an electron tube test set.
Sticker on the unit says it came from Warner Robins AFB. Again, to be considered "condition unknown". If you are interested, let me know. It weighs 48 pounds, so keep that in mind for shipping charges. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1475961043.jpg Exterior painted markings: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1475961205.jpg Interior data plate: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1475961144.jpg Exterior data plate: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1475961242.jpg |
Four, new, unused, Kinedyne E-Track straps for use inside a semi trailer.
Actually, you can use them anywhere you want. I don't care. (Only two pictured, but there are four total.) http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1475961453.jpg |
Looks like my Dad's collection of stuff that we had to get rid of when we moved him into assisted living. He was an EE and had tons of tubes, oscilloscopes, and unidentifiable obsolete electronic gear from the 1940s on.

Some of the stuff in the warehouse is my stuff.... like this:
Fuel fill hose for a Fiat 124 Spider - 1977 and up. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1475961646.jpg Brand new in the box, Delphi FP923 fuel pump. They won't let me get rid of the O-scopes. We have a half-dozen that are NEVER used any more, but they want to keep them "just in case".
Anyway, that is all I have for today. I will be going by the warehouse again tomorrow and will try to round up some more items to post. |
You might ring up this shop about the tube equipment.

Various 2" and 3" fittings.
These are heavy. Most are stainless. Some are plastic. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1476022577.jpg I think I had mentioned the following items back in April. Nobody spoke for any of them then, so they may just go into the scrap metal pile. Under-decklid Air conditioning condenser coil from a 70 or 72 Porsche 911. Condition unknown. Most fins are straight, but not all. GONE Shift lever from a 70 or 72 Porsche 911. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1476022894.jpg Set of 4 "Design 90" rims. I think they are 6" & 7" All are pretty beat up from racing. Ok... that's about all I can get to for now.
As I remove items from the warehouse, I may run across more items to list. |
I could use the E track straps and some 2" camlock fittings. Will send a pm.

The Optical comparator is killer!

This stuff.
I think the small bits are left over from a 1972 that I was working on. Hell, it's been about 10 years ago, so there may be Fiat parts in there also. All of it is well used or worn, except that main seal which is brand new. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1477577719.jpg *** This stuff. The green pack, and the two packs on the far right, are shims for the center bearing of a 915 transmission. The rest is gaskets, seals, and misc for a 3.0 engine. All new. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1477577829.jpg And these appear to be valve stem seals, valve cover hardware, and etc. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1477577876.jpg This is what it costs to ship stuff: https://www.usps.com/ship/priority-mail.htm |
Ok... somebody called dibs on the center caps in this box.
I think the T handles are the trunk and hood pulls from a longhood car. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1477577719.jpg |
A few more small bits.
The "C" is smooshed. All are oxidized. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1477592791.jpg I guess I should let them go cheap since it is mis-spelled. |
Refueling nozzles are now all gone.
Tube tester and tubes are gone. |
How much for the red telephone? I'm only half joking.
