X5 Diesel Oil Service

Being from the North Side of the Canadian/US border, I find that prices for vehicle purchases and servicing costs are a premium. What type of costs do you guys see in the US for the same kind of service on a 35D X5 ? This is a recent experience and would like to know what the discrepancy actually looks like ?

Mine was covered while under warranty. When I get to the office, I'll tell you what my mechanic charged.

Would be interested to hear what you US neighbors pay for this type of service. I feel that us Canadians look the proverbial fire hose down the barrel.
