$50K plus a 2016 Miata, not too bad.

I missed the $75K but git the 50K from the website. What's a 2016 Miata cost?

I'm guessing within a few thou either way.

I love Miata's and FM has some real cool stuff...

That looks like a great car.

But at that price point you could get a whole lot of car.

For instance if I wanted a LS3 (and I do) I would just get the top of the line Camaro (cue mullet and gold chain comments, and yes I know that is a LT1).

Maybe I'm getting old but with that much HP I would want more car around me. I owned a NA and loved it... but the thing was so minuscule I had to drive as if I was invisible, just like riding a motorcycle.

Yeah, but an ND miata with 520hp at 2500# would be a very different car than a Camaro or Mustang in V-8 form unless you were getting one of the crazy super-high hp models. It all depends upon what you want.

Besides, this sort of thing might be fun

Just buy a used 450bhp TVR for a whole lot less with a least the same power to weight ratio, if not better

Short wheelbase and stupid amounts of horsepower.

Sounds like just my cup of tea.
