Don't care. I have never and will never use his company's product. There's absolutely no upside.

Sounds like normal stock fluctuations. He might have even profited, if he sold some of his own shares, which he has done in the past.

Love him or hate him, he is not to be underestimated.

He sold $95M of his shares a month ago in anticipation. Good for him.

So a super rich guy, who seems decent enough, employs 15,000 folks, has committed to giving a fair chunk of his wealth to charity temporarily loses some pocket change and you feel the need post some snide comment about it. A bit of envy maybe?

It's called "Schadenfreude".

I don't get how people feel this way. I certainly don't begrudge the success of others. Good for them! Nor do I like seeing people fail and I certainly don't rejoice in it!

The thing about astonishing wealth is the once you get to a certain point, (maybe $100 million?), it's like everything is free. Big house or 3? Free. New Ferrari for each house? Free. $5M yacht? Free. Ivy League education for your 8 children? Free.

He's past this point x100 or 1000.

What's creepy about Facebook is that they supply all the images to the government for their facial recognition programs. Supposedly half the people in the country are already in their system.

Facebook changed internet stalking victims into willing unpaid temporary celebrities.

Either way I couldn't care less.
Don't use it. Don't want it.

Just like some football team drama: It doesn't put a dime in my pocket.
Next.

I've never understood why some people get such glee from the misfortunes of others. I used to work for a guy like that. I didn't stay long.

Having said that, I don't use facebook, but I had to get a personal account in order to have a business account. We have a couple of people in the office to maintain our business FB and they have found it to be a pretty good marketing tool. Every couple of months I try to look at my personal FB page and have to have my wife explain it to me every time.

Not so fast.

If anyone who uses Facebook and has taken your picture, like at a family gathering, you've been faced.

In addition, Google and the gubmint are indistinguishable, invite or not. So yes, that barn door is crying over spilt milk.

When I renewed my Oregon driver's license, I was asked to remove my glasses for the photo. They never asked this before. I figured it was for a facial recognition program.

Orwell was an optimist.

I don't facebook or tweet...but I doubt it makes much difference.
