Michelin Premier Tires

Time for new tires for our Odyssey mini van. OEM tires were Continental Pro Contact. We got 57K out of them without problems. They are (and have been since new) quite noisy. So I initially was looking at Michelin Primacy MXV4 as a replacement. I have them on another vehicle and they are very quiet and I have liked them very much. Now to complicate things, I have discovered Michelin Premier LTX which are also rated very quiet and are considerably less expensive than Primacy. Anybody have experience with the Premiers? I'd love your input. Thanks.--Dave

Just read the reviews on Tire Rack, they have never led me astray.

I've been in several tire plants. Michelin does things different. From the compounding to the wire wrapping to the manufacturing process with a serious focus on quality. These plants are very clean and sorted out compared to other tire plants I have been to. I run these on my daily drivers and have never had an issue. Highly recommended.

Thanks for the input, guys. I have read the Tire Rack ratings (and customer reviews) and it almost sounds too good to be true. I think I'll pull the trigger on them.--Dave

After a way too noisy set of Bridgestone we went with the $$ Michelins and have no complaints, great tires.
