Then this is what I tried to do today,

Not very well either, but I tried, taped it up so you couldn't see it .

Then I played around with new signal and park lights on my hot rod that got smashed in the crash.
Have to paint them satin or flat black. I think they look OK. ??

Yes soybean, a new export for us. They roll around everywhere for months after we load a vessel.

I have a buddy who can do that perfectly and quickly, it's impressive. To be fair though, he spent a good bit of time in the Navy and Merchant Marine.

Johnco, I just noticed your air cleaner and had a chuckle, even have the pull chord in lace. 😀
Very simple front axel, is it ridgid/ unsprung?

Cheers Richard

These pics are cool as Hell. I am not sure what's going on, but love the scale and adventure that is apparent on these ships.

What's going on is we're getting ready (today) to discharge fertilizer from this vessel.

Here's a picture (not one of mine) of Delfzuil Netherlands, where this MV is from.

You would not have to tell me twice to stay clear. Everything non-human in those pictures is on a massive scale.

Tevake, yes it has a cross spring mounted on perch in front of axle. usually called suicide front suspension.. only has some cheap friction shocks so its a kinda rough ride, but its also cramped, hot, loud and dirty so I dont really notice. it just makes me smile driving it

So how many rats live aboard that ship? Looks like a feast for them.

Into a tough winter already

Getting a crapload of snow and cold winter weather, but managed to finish off this ship with an all-night effort.

As you can see, these modern vessels are getting very cluttered as far as the walking decks are concerned.
