The man in the high castle, season 2

Anyone caught up yet ? Kinda nice of Amazon to let us binge that way...
Don't want to spoil it for anyone, but it was nice to see the show wrap up nicely at the end, they could stop now and we've got a decent story already (though I hear there will be a season 3). I was starting to wonder what was going on with the timelines but it's a bit clearer now....

One thing that amuses me, they have no qualms displaying swastikas and Nazi paraphenelia all over, but one measly sex scene and the bras stay on... Funny, sure got strange priorities !!! Good show though !

If someone can confirm, what happens to the few "travelers" when they switch timelines like the trade minister and his assistant? They just go missing in the other ? Does it only work if their alter ego is dead ?

I enjoyed season 1. I haven't started season 2 yet.

Season 1 was good, but by comparison Season 2 was spectacular. Very clever and quite well done. I'm also wondering about a third season and where they would go with it.

I get it with the alternate timelines, but confused how they switch. Sure, the trade minister shut his eyes, clicked his heels 3x , and poof early 60's USA SFO. ;-) Did i miss something when I dozed off watching an episode?

You would think that if the Nazi's had the fleet of SST's as the show displays, we would be seeing more modern tech German cars, than late 50's Brit and German sports cars. Tech advances in the aero sector but not the auto area? Yah yah.. nit picking

Don't spoil season 2 for the rest of us:

I saw 10 episodes ready to go. Clicked on the first one, watched for 5 minutes, then turned it off. I'm not going to get sucked into binge watching. Watching the Star Wars marathon was enough for this year. lol

I found that by binge watching it, the plot moves too slow in parts.

How does it compare to the book?

My feeble mind can't grasp how they were watching films of future events.

I liked it but I think I would have liked it more without the alternate timeline aspects. Just a story about what the world would be like if the axis powers won.

Only slightly closer than Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep was to Blade Runner.

I watched both seasons over the last couple of days. I enjoyed it but found the story plot line was a tad off. There was no way the Japanese (or any security force) would have hired her no matter how cute someone thought she was.

The films of future events or events that happened in out timeline but not the existing one is strange. How can something exist that never happened?
