2017 a4 question.
wife checked out all the 3 series size cars and was set on an a4. picked it up last night. its nice with lots of electronics. i've gone to the audi forums but they aren't very helpful so far, very little traffic on there. so i have a couple of questions for the mind trust here.
1. want to get some snows for it and am wondering if i can use the previous generation wheels on this, 2010-2016 or even the previous generation that so the 2006-2009. 2. does the audi use a tpms sensor still or has it switched to the style that our daughters 2016 honda fit uses, basically monitors each axle and determines if one wheel is smaller circumference to the other. thanks. ken.

A4 uses the abs sensors, no sensor in the wheel. Any wheel with a similar offset will work.
Edit: forgot about the center bore change. Wheels from a B7 or older won't fit, they have a 57.1mm center bore. B8 and your B9 have a 66.5mm center bore. Some Mercedes Benz wheels will also fit, same bolt pattern and they have a 66.6mm center bore. Last edited by rockfan4; 12-22-2016 at 12:08 PM.. Reason: Forgot about center bore change. |

I've been wondering about the new A4. How are you liking it so far? Looks pretty nice, but have not seen in person yet. Also - what kind of pricing were you able to work? Are they discounting them?
Thread hijack: Anybody know when an S4 is coming back? Looks like they stopped making the 2016's quite some time back, and no hint about a replacement. Couple of the dealer sites that I watch are not showing any used S4's in inventory - ever. Looks like an S5 is coming for 2017 sometime - but I wonder if they just need to cycle through their engineering/production cycle to re-introduce the S4 variant. |

We just got it yesterday so too early to tell but it's got a bunch of driver aids that on paper sound good. We brought in the true car price and asked them to match. Right now though there seems to be a large number of white cars at a least in Seattle . Wife didn't want white so it meant going to a further away shop. So far from reading the owners manual, no dip stick so that's a minus and probably no Trans dip stick but our old e36 didn't have that either
