The Cayman is more of a purist 911 than a 911.

Dang it dude, the decisions you made on your build - especially the simplicity of the ventilation holes in the rear bumper are exquisite.

Those 18" Fikse Profil 5 wheels look uncompromising to say the least.

Well done sir.

Apples and oranges, I say. That said, the Cayman is Porsche's first ever mid-engine coupe. As such, in my view, it has greater racing potential than the 911.

I'm keeping my SC. It is the smallest car I see, each time I drive it (unless an Ariel Atom shows up, or an original Mini Cooper). At stop lights, when I turn my head, I am practically looking straight at the door handles on Hondas.

But the 987.2 Porsche is the closest thing you'll get to that in a modern car. It feels like my 914-6 on initial turn in, and frankly, will outrun my 3.2. It will do things that I just won't write here.

It won't just outrun your 3.2, it will leave it for dead... :) Unless your 3.2 is in your 914/6.

I find the size comparisons funny. Did anyone post a pic of a SWB car beside a 930? Or a 930 next to a standard 991?

Thank you kindly. I'm really pleased with how the turbo came together. Saying it's enjoyable to drive is an understatement! :D

Or an Elise.
