Atlanta police spokesman Donald Hannah said officers followed the Hummer after the crashes and that the driver jumped out, opened the door of a Porsche and was shot by a passenger in that car. Hannah said officers also used stun guns to subdue the Hummer's driver.

Police say they don't know what prompted the series of crashes. They say the Hummer driver was taken conscious and alert to a hospital. He wasn't immediately identified.
Sounds like there was a mostly happy ending to the story.

If they are a Pelican, they would be well advised to refrain from commenting about it.

Newsflash: There are millions of Porsches roaming American soil. Most are modern, disposable/replaceable cars and SUVs. We are but a grain of sand.

Sounds like a legit reason to blast someone, FWIW.

According to the Police Report, the sound of "racking" distracted the Hummer driver, allowing the Porsche passenger the needed leeway.

And he would get to see a man do a monkey roll before the katana was brandished.

I had a guy run up to my passenger door once with an urgent, excited but very criminal look on his face. There were police sirens wailing and getting louder by the second. He did something bad and was definitely heading for detention. If I'd had a gun, I would have shot him just like the lady in Pulp Fiction.

I actually had something better, an 80 lb. German Shepard in the back seat who nearly ripped his arm off but he pulled it back quicker than a saber jet. Don't know what happened to him and his schit filled diaper.

This happened literally right outside the door of where I work (The shooting part, at least.). Unfortunately, I'm off this week, so I wasn't around to watch all the activity.
