That was pretty good, actually fantastic production. Hadn't heard of those guys before and I subscribe to a few Rush tribute pages on FB. I saw one in San Diego on Memorial Day called Xanadoods and they were fantastic.

Alas, my Rush tribute is over because the drummer is moving to Payson in a few weeks. But the Rush tribute that fired me a few years ago wants me back now. So I've been working with them recently, but it's gonna be a while before we're ready to gig. Unlike my last Rush tribute, these guys want to play just about every song my other band did not. I love the challenge, but it's a bit of a ramp up. Most of the stuff we played in my last band, I'd been playing since high school, so it was just a matter of keeping it polished. This new one has me learning tons of songs I've never bothered to really nail down.

Anyway, here's one of my last band. Note the Porsche factory worker's shirt I'm wearing, courtesy of Speeder a few years ago. Also note fan commentary at the end.

Last night my VH tribute had a gig with the local AC/DC and Scorpions tributes. But we have no more gigs on the calendar at the moment, so I will shift my focus to polishing some more Rush stuff. The solo for Kid Gloves has been giving me fits.
