Remington 9mm @ $.20 per round
Haven't see it this low in a while. Just ordered 1K. This will only fit guns/firearms/weapons. They don't have any loads for effin spoons.

I want to say that it was Sniper that really liked light-weight high-speed rounds. I'm far from expert, but my opinion based on reading various sources is that slow and heavy (and deeply penetrating) is the way to go, at least for something like .380 or 9mm. So for 9mm, I'd stick with 147gr or maybe 124gr +P. 115 is fine for the range though.

I opt for a flat nose FMJ in 9mm. No expansion, but it should penetrate.

I have found the perfect round that offers both penetration and expansion, with lots of energy transfer. 165gr JHP....in .40.

Still I'd think that 115 gr would be fine for stopping an uninvited visitor. Even if you're off of center mass by a few ticks it should provide enough discouragement.

Any bullet that will go into a creep is a good home defense round.

Just got a thousand of Winchester 124 gr NATO $209 It is like a +P, or that is my understanding.
360 days until mail order goes away for California and you need a background check to purchase ammo. Next year I need to buy all I will use before I leave.

Great deal! Interesting that we are seeing some deals in 9mm. Prices for 223 may be a couple cents lower now, but not much. Really wish I could find quality 6.5 Creedmoor for less than 1.40...

I don't really *need* more 9mm ammo, but ... no sense in not buying a few boxes (20) when the price drops like that.

My 9mm is a Springfield EMP 1911 with a 3" Barrel. Defense ammo is a Factory HP round that's 150 gr and loaded for short barrel pistols. 115 gr is practice ammo.

The more expensive it gets, sure makes reloading worth it...

For HD/SD, I'd probably stick with 124gr-147gr stuff, but it depends on the specific pistol/barrel length. My personal all-around fav is Speer Gold-Dot 124gr +p.
FWIW, I believe the 9x19mm round was originally designed/optimized using a 124gr projo weight. The NATO stuff can actually be a bit hotter than some of the +p offerings out there. |

SG Ammo
They list it as $10 more per 1000 now, and out of stock
