A Show About Nothing

How does he manage to fall into these deals so easily?
A remarkable story. Another easy 100 mill

I saw that story that seems like a lot of money for that series which I don't think really ever got any traction past the first couple episodes, but hey I'd take it too.

I never watched Seinfeld.

stevej37 01-18-2017 11:37 AM

59 episodes....must have done something right!

sc_rufctr 01-18-2017 11:39 AM

Good for him & Jessica Seinfeld has always been smoking hot IMO. Lucky bastard! ;)

The episode with Michael Richards was memorable.

There have been several that were pretty good. I think the show's title and content line up really well so not sure how it can be called it a show about nothing.

Because that was the phrase from the orig series and it describes what happens in this one. You have to be a Seinfeld fan to understand.

The one episode of Seinfeld I've seen happened to be the only one I'd care to watch - about his car mechanic "call him the Maestro". Based in truth, from when der Maestro Harry Pellow fixed up Jerry's LA Turkey-fied turkey-fried 356 Speedster engine....

HCPResearch is gone, but thanks to web.archive.org you can enjoy the tale of what turkeys in LA do to 356s...

You have missed a lot.:)

The deal is for his show “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee” not the original Seinfeld show which it looks like some are discussing above.

I am a big Seinfeld Show fan and really do not care that much for the Cars Getting Coffee series. Some of the guests make it funny while others leave it very short. Overall I would give it a 'C'.

More power to him to turn it into a hundred mil.

The shorts where Michael Richards plays the CEO of Crackle were great. They should make more of them.

I still prefer Duckman.

stevej37 01-18-2017 12:52 PM

The Seinfeld Show will go down as one of the best tv shows ever. The numbers verify this.

Duckman? What about A$$man?

wildthing 01-18-2017 01:57 PM

Hmmm... I watch CCC because it's free, and I don't have Netflix streaming. I don't think I'll pay $10 a month for this. I know there are other good shows but I simply do not have the time. The Grand Tour is enough for me, and if Amazon decides to charge extra for it, I may pony up the dough.

I suppose he hasn't last any sleep over the bath he took on the 917/30.

One of the best episodes. Also...the one about George buying Jon Voigts car!
There were numerous episodes that showed Jerry's taste in cars. From posters in his apartment to cars on the curb...Porsches aplenty.
There were numerous times that his Porsches were shown on the street.

Not only numbers, but the influence it has had on modern life and pop culture. Double dip? Shrinkage? Festivus? I probably make multiple Seinfeld references per day without even realizing it anymore.

Yup. That and 2 1/2 men are in their own class.
