Hottest spot in theUSA in Feb, excluding Hawaii

Looking to go somewhere warm in the continental USA in Feb. Can some of my southern friends suggest a good spot?
Thanks

There's a lot to do in South Florida, if you don't want the long plane ride to Hawaii.

I've gone to Treasure Island, FL a few times and like it.....Preferred it over the Destin, FL area for sure...We have a lot of FL Pelicans that would surely know more than me.

San Diego, cheaper than Hawaii and lots to see and do, arguably the best weather in the USA.

Late Feb is start of spring break season here for Florida, but the weather is fine. Daytona 500 last weekend of Feb IIRC... Just had my relations from St Paul Mn and Boston MA down to celebrate my mom's 80th, they really enjoyed the weather (high 50s at night, mid to high 70s during day)

As an aside, what is it with people who live in Florida? Whenever the weather gets nasty here, I have a buddy in Florida who loves to call... I usually respond by telling him to perform an impossible sexual act.

I mean, hell...I don't try to call him when a hurricane is about to hit.

Palm Springs area is fun if you like to golf or do spas. Some great hiking at the top of the gondola.

Thanks for all the info. Going from the Maritimes to Calgary in Feb. So, I am out west and may go south from there. Maybe California or Arizona.

Phoenix and Palm Springs should be okay in Feb. However their weather has not been that warm lately. Palm Springs should be 70F/20c in February although I think Florida is warmer.
