I thought the video was pretty cool. She's got some pretty good concentration going on, but also seems fairly relaxed, and can have a little fun too.

I was going to make some joke about her taking my stick any time or something, but I'm pretty sure there's a good chance she might rip it right off.

For whatever reason the phrase "death by snu-snu" comes to mind. (Futurama reference if not everyone knows).

Ah yes, the "Siberian Angel". She's an absolute machine.
The skill/strength it takes to deal with the physical aerodynamic/stick forces AND G-forces that plane generates while executing maneuvers to that degree of precision is, well, very impressive.

In Mother Russia, plane fly you!

In case anyone had any doubts about female flying capability:

Night.
Treetop level.
No parachute.
Compass and moon for GPS.
Shut off engine and dive when bombing (hence the name).
Hope it starts again.
Old crappy biplane that no real fighter-pilot wants to fly.

How does she not toss her cookies?

I made myself ill learning to do loops and hammerheads in a Grob 103.

I can't imagine not spewing after the maneuvers I see the real aerobatic pilots doing.

I would love to be that relaxed flipping a plane around in the air. Probably not in this lifetime though.

Can someone explain the benefit of the loose stick geometry that forces her to move her leg out of the way when she goes full lock? Seems to me like a steeper ratio would be a benefit.

I have flown second seat as a guest with the RayBan aerobatic team.. This vid pales by comparison to being in the seat..the most fun I have EVER had..

Leverage and precision. These are capable of 720 degrees per second roll rate so you don't want a short throw to make it twitchy and heavy to handle.

The 330 is a little closer to 400deg/sec. Stick throw is for accuracy in maneuvers.

I guess it says in the title it is a 330, my bad.

I know nothing about stunt planes but that seems to be an incredibly responsive machine! And she handles it masterfully. I got whoops in my gut watching her pony tail bounce around.
