Tom Brady is the best quarterback of all time. End of discussion
latest accomplishments:
most yards in superbowl history Biggest comeback in superbowl history most mvp wins in superbowl history Most wins in superbowl history CHOKE ON IT HATERS! The argument is over. |
As an old Niner fan, I always insisted Joe Montana was the greatest of all time. It's hard to argue against Brady now, though. At least he's from my back yard and went to the same high school (Serra) as many of my current friend's sons are going now. We can be proud of our local "kid".
It's an amazing coincidence that Brady grew up idolizing Montana and was even at the stadium for The Catch. |

In fact I think if you ask Tom Brady who the best quarterback of all time is he will tell you it's Joe Montana. do you like Juan Manuel Fangio any less because Michael Schumacher beat his record? |
I have argued against this assertion many times but no more. There is no quit in that guy. It was like he put the team on his shoulders and said "we're going to win". Impressive.
|
As much as I hate the Patriots, Tom Brady, and Bill Belichek, it's hard to ignore facts.

Yeah, at least Joe Montana had the courtesy to be ugly! The debate is over, frankly I think it has been over for some time last night just solidified it. Has anyone ever done more with less? I'm an eagles fan and my team is one of his pelts on the door but I still can appreciate greatness. I told my son that he is watching the greatest coach-player combination of all time, so I let him stay up and watch the whole game. Amazing game and Atlanta is legit... can't argue with OP but the greatest throw/catch of all time was by Atlanta and the receiver who's so good they gave him #1 twice. even joe buck couldn't douche up the moment as all he could say was 'that was incredible'.
|
But... but... Tim Tebow! He has Jesus coaching him!
|
Didn't hurt to win the coin toss either. Just sayin'.
|
Brady is the best to ever play the game.
the coil toss did not win the game. Driving all the way down and scoring a touchdown on what was supposedly the best defense in the league won the game. The coil toss was a non issue. |

Q) What kind of a pitiful little man can be so out of control of his emotions that he lets his biased and bigoted hatred and envy control his thinking? A) The kind you see in the mirror every day. How many hospitals have you built, how many people have you helped? Besides yourself I mean. Get a life. |
Agreed.
|
Agreed and agreed, again.

Joe Montanna, Troy Aikeman, Terry Bradshaw, not really a patriots fan.....
|
great game. Brady rocks, and his wife is hot.
anyways. super interesting that there are two Superbowl results threads...one celebrates the positive win giving kudos to a hard working QB. the second one, touts the choke; focuses on the negative. hahah..did Brady take the win, or did Falcons choke and give the win? i |
Both.

Bart Starr. Drops mic

A Starr fan here.... But in those days of Bart Starr the pack remained intact for years and Starr had how many Hall of Famers on those teams?...7, 8, 9?, 11?, ___? How many H of F players, except Brady (potentially) on Brady's teams over the years? IMO, Brady is and has BEEN the Pats...as well as B. Belichick. ;) |
Patriots have a good system in place and Mr Brady is a very good quarterback.
Otto Graham is the best quarterback that ever played. |
