That makes me sooo happy to hear someone finally speaking the truth..

I always thought so too. Amazing that the average joe is paying a billionaire to make cars for millionaires that supposedly drive themselves.

So using government subsidies isn't a smart business decision????:confused::confused::confused:

I am 100% certain that all of you would leverage subsidies for business purposes if they were/are available for whatever it is that you do.

Anybody working at the banks? Taxpayer money kept those alive despite their shady dealings resulting in millions of people losing billions of dollars.

Tesla's innovation for the most part lead the charge for autonomous vehicles. If he was a con man, all the big manufacturers wouldn't be scrambling to keep up.

He also just launched a rocket and had it land back down, after delivering supplies to the ISS. Ya....sounds like a con man to me....

No, they have not. Tesla started with electrified Lotus in 2008? --By 2008; Mercedes had made massive strides. What comes to mind is the MY2000 S-class with adaptive cruise control, which allows brake/throttle control in stop & go traffic. Of course, other car mfgs (Toyota?) were showing automated parallel parking features before Tesla even existed.

Of course Tesla is infamous for it's autonomous vehicle failures. "Progress!"

Oh right, other cars don't catch on fire.

Anybody have a Toyota that accelerates for no reason? Con artists....

cairns 03-03-2017 08:23 AM

It's not just their cars that catch on fire.....but no worries. Elon says this is not an explosion.

Shortly after the investigation into the fatal crash, Indianapolis Fire Department Battalion Chief Kevin Jones told a press conference, "If you have collisions at high rates of speed with impacts like that, regardless if it's a traditional power vehicle via gasoline or hybrid or all electric, you can see a fire in a vehicle like that or severe damage. And so to say it was simply because it was an electric vehicle, you can't say that because we've seen collisions that are non-electric vehicles with just as bad of damage or fire."
