congratulations.

You win the forum for the week. Probably all of 2017

One of those is parked a few miles from my house. Every time we drive past it my wife says "NO!"

That's a really nice one and the price looks right to me.

It's pretty common for US owners to put Ford V-8's in them when they have trouble with the RR 6.

Good for you! I will be in trouble when my son sees this post.

And I see a potential Halloween costume for Mrs. Wayne for next year too :D

It is no more of a weapon than the other few thousand big trucks/SUV's on the road.
Slap some cup holders into it and head out to get some fro-yo with the kids.
What a hoot.

pwd72s 03-09-2017 11:15 AM

I love it! No worries about parking lot dings.

pdxfj 03-09-2017 11:22 AM

Very cool.

I see the turret gun has been converted to fire paint balls. Would be so much fun to fill it full of the ones the police use as pepper spay and drive through a protest in downtown Portland.

bivenator 03-09-2017 11:30 AM

You should lower it to Euro height. Much lower center of gravity.

Rednine11 03-09-2017 11:36 AM

That is really cool. You will have a lot of fun with it.
I have an M35A2 Deuce and a half. No reason why. just because I can.
I would Love to have a Ferret

911boost 03-09-2017 11:39 AM

That is frickin awesome

MFAFF 03-09-2017 11:39 AM

They are a hoot to drive....the steering wheel is angled the 'other way' the bottom is further away from you...great ergonomics..

It might be a 4x4 like the 959 you have... and have a six cylinder engine...and four wheels...driving it requires more skill than a 959 ever could....'cos you have to guess where you're going most of the time... even if you can see it there is no guarantee the car (as its a Scout car) is actually going to go there....steering feel zero, steering weight, variable from zero to absurdly heavy... dry road grip, maybe...

Fun factor.. sky high. Off road in the mud it is absolutely fantastic and the Rolls Royce engine is so good...

Well done Wayne.....park that next to the P-cars..

pete3799 03-09-2017 11:47 AM

Soon to hit the bookshelves......101 projects for your Ferret.

Porchdog 03-09-2017 11:51 AM

Per the listing the gun doesn't come with it.

It would be a pity not to put a belt fed MG in there.

I thought that I remembered that those were mostly used for "The troubles" in Ireland.

impactbumper 03-09-2017 11:56 AM

time to install weapons Wayne. Awesome purchase.

MFAFF 03-09-2017 11:57 AM

Indeed in NI, and practically everywhere else. (The main armoured vehicles in NI were the Humber Pig and the Saracen APC... as they could carry a squad of troops inside...a bit more use than a Scout Car)

They built something like 5,000 of them and sold them to many other nations.

Don Plumley 03-09-2017 12:11 PM

Awesome!

Bill Douglas 03-09-2017 12:53 PM

One way of dealing with Los Angeles traffic problems.

BlueSkyJaunte 03-09-2017 01:17 PM

If you don't put a cool collar and an e-Ram on it I will be sorely disappointed.

Justin@Athens 03-09-2017 01:23 PM

Cool purchase. It'll be fun if you have somewhere to take it off road. Jake Raby also has one, give him a shout if you have any questions.

flipper35 03-09-2017 01:28 PM

Awesome grab. Can you mount a water gun like a small firetruck hose up there?

Hugh R 03-09-2017 01:58 PM

That is flat out cool. If you're interested, I could probably hook you up with a couple of picture car companies to rent it out to TV shows and movies.
