My POS Ford F150 is finally worth something

Was digging around under the rear seats, looking for a tool, and found this. I've owned the truck for about 8 years, so its been there the entire time. Size is 8mm x 8mm x 5 mm tall. Looks real to me. Can I sell it and buy a motorcycle?

Would be cool to find the previous owner and ask if they lost a ring in the truck. Make 'em prove it, but what a stroke of good fortune!

I bought the truck used from San Diego Mercedes Benz. They were asking 19K for it, and I snagged it for $11K! They bought it at auction from a rental company.

It may be costume jewelery... Get it valued before doing anything else.

Richard,
If it's real PM me...I may buy it. G/f is after me, again.
We tried twice already ($12k each time) ...maybe 3rd time.

Because nothing says "I love you!" like an engagement ring found in an old pickemup truck!

Just don't tell her you bought it from some guy named "Motion" who you met on the internet and that he found it under the backseat of an old rental truck he bought 8 years ago. Just a bit of advice from someone who has been married for 23 years.

In cases like this...it's ok to, well...embellish a bit.

Does the band have any marking indicating PLAT or S.S. or S. Silver, or 14K, 18K, etc.?

If the band says S.S or titanium, you can save yourself a trip to the jeweler.

If you are lucky, it is worth just enough to replace all the spark plugs, and re thread the holes .

One would think that if it's worth more than a box of Cracker Jacks they'd 'a torn the truck down.
