bought another spoon today

So the local gun show which is less than a half mile from my house had an event yesterday/today . I wasn't going to go because it is always painful to my wallet but I have been working a LOT of OT at work so grabbed $600.00 and went today . I was specifically looking for a .22 LR revolver.

Why ? I don't know just wanted one to add to the collection . It was pretty slim picking as most everyone wants something larger caliber and/or an AR . Came across a beautiful S&W used that the seller was asking 895.00 which is too rich for me , he said the best he could do was 850.00 I thanked him for his time and walked away.

Then came across some Ruger's at one booth and they had a SP101 in stainless steel which I like . It felt good in my hand , nice balance and I was surprised that the trigger pull felt better than what I have read online reviews . Even liked the rubber/wood combination grips . So for 599.00 I pulled the trigger Stupid crazy price for a .22 but the gun market is crazy . Found another booth that had 22 LR in a box of 500 for 32.00 so picked up a box while I was there . Now looking forward to putting some rounds through her .

I was out on my range today with my Ruger Mk II Target with a bull barrel (I bought it in 1984 in San Diego) and my Single Six (manufactured in 1960)I bought from a gent in Arkansas who used to post here

.22 plinking is great...f'ing great: 200 rounds of old stuff I bought for nothing.

Enjoy.

Garage
Why no single six? Could have saved 50% if you found a cheap used one!

But seriously - congrats. Guns are always a fun thing to collect.

We can't tell you until someone initiates you with the secret handshake.

It is on a need to know basis. Unlike the government we can keep secrets.
