Convertible Top Stains
My cab top is pretty close to the end of its useful life. The inside is ragged, it leaks, and it has some rust stains from a winter under a leaky industrial roof.
Has anyone had any success with the canvass top cleaners, or maybe I need to dye it? If it were pristine I would take it somewhere for a proper cleaning. This is more about delaying an inevitable expense. Or maybe I just live with it? I never drive the car with the top up.

Is it black? If so, you could consider using one of the many "back to black" type products to restore color. I use Aerospace 303 on my Boxster and SC cab tops, it brings back some color and has UV protection. Both of those are in pretty good condition though. Worst case, canvas should be easy to dye.

Black. I've seen some dyes on YouTube that 'look' easy, but I'm afraid it will be blotchy.
I will start with some cleaners.

Believe it not "Spray-Nine" is the ***** for almost anything like this. Available almost anywhere is your basic 1/2 qt. spray container, white bottle. Rinse your top thoroughly in a shaded area, spray it directly on, generously. Use a soft bristle brush, work in circles overlapping being careful not to let it sit for too long. Best if you work on 1 side at a time. Rinse and go to other side and repeat.
Its what the detail dept used (my last shop) on stubborn stains like this, inside and out. It is not house-hold bleach based. Stay away from that crap. Also when diluted- makes the best vinyl siding cleaner.

Thanks. That used to be my 'go to' cleaner for greasy machines.
I probably have some around the house. When the temperature get above freezing I will try it.
