I hope Ferrari's race results are as cool as the poster.

awesome qualifying for Ferrari  was a long time ago since they locked out the front row |
After Q2 that was certainly a surprise.

Great qualifying at Sochi. Wow.
|
The Merc is said to be very sensitive to setup and harder to drive than the Ferrari.
Are Merc missing Paddy? Thoughts? |

Flippin' thru the channels I caved into 5 minutes of Indycar at Phoenix - night racing at the bullring. Guessing at most there's 5,000 in attendance. They should hand out sparklers to liven up the drone race. http://www.howtophotographyourlife.c...1-1024x682.jpg |

That was the most exciting boring race I have seen in a long time. Thank god for DVRs. Even though nothing happened, the last 10 laps had me on the edge of my seat.

I must admit I have not been FA's biggest admirer in the past, given some of the comments he made when things didn't go his way. I believe the measure of a man's character is best taken during adverse circumstances.
Having said that,he has risen inestimably this year to the challenge of wringing the best out of a car with a disappointing power plant. He managed to praise the car's cornering after practice. Too bad the Honda couldn't get him to the starting line. Best Les |
Wow, there was almost a pass in the end.
Grosjean is full of BS. The shunt with Palmer was clearly his fault. Nice to see Botas win. I'm fairly certain Massa did his best to help him... Indy car: I also caught some laps in between movies and other shows. Paltry attendance. I just don't get the going round in circles thing and the announcers trying to make up comments about how there is a strategy. Turn left and keep your foot in it. |
|
Yeah that was a snooze fest except for the last few laps. That said I find it hard to complain when Hamilton is not doing well, and "nice guy" Bottas gets his maiden win, and Ferrari still looks competitive... Now if only Red Bull would join the fray and (totally dreaming) if McLAren got a mercedes engine for spain ;-)

I heard Honda made assurances the new engine was competitive, reliable and fuel efficient. Well DUH! I bet they told that same thing to Mclaren a couple of years ago as well. When they have a total POS right now the new one HAS to be better, but will be be enough? I sure would not bet on it. |
I didn't think it was possible for Honda to sink any lower. Especially after Russia. I was wrong. Alonso made it through a full 3 corners on his first warm up lap in Spain before the engine hand-grenaded
Honda engine chief Yusuke Hasegawa explained, "There was a big hole in the bottom of the engine and the oil is missing." http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1494614759.jpg |
Can you image what Alonzo is getting paid per miles of driving?
|
What a waste of a great driver that team has turned out to be. I fully appreciate Alonsos frustration. Would love to see what he could do in a Merc, Ferrari or RB car.
|
Yet he managed to get the thing to 7th on the grid!
Maybe they can get it to last the race. Best Les |
Great race today (Spain). Who was the interviewer at the end? Anyone know?
