I don't have a lot of patience for public rudeness.

I've also noticed that Asians will break into lines...has happened to me many times.
.
I want to go grocery shopping with Speeder...so that he can "cold cock" errant customers for me.
.
:D

I find that most foreign do not get in line and could care less about if you are in line or not. Certain groups are worst them others. Don't get me started

I hate the ones that way I have only 3 items (well, I have 5 items)so I need to get in front of you bull siht.

That' depends on where they are from. The mainland Chinese do not believe in lines (try getting on a train in China. Now I know why) Armenians are just as bad and they will pick a fight, dirty looks for sure if you call them on it.

When at Costco one of my favorite things to do is...if the person in front of me has just a few items and my cart is loaded...I ask them, "May I get in front of you, you only have a couple of items?"
So far, everyone gets a laugh.
I'm weird that way.
.
BTW, I usually offer to let others in front of me when they have only a couple of items.
I'm an old fart and I need the Karma.

I approached the line, waiting at the butcher counter of a store known for excellent meats were several customers.
As I reached for the number machine, a beautiful brunette waltzes by me, grabs a number, hands it to me, and then grabs one for herself.
.
"Hmmm...what's this?", I think to myself.
We begin to chat, chat some more...
I finally ask her if she'd like to drop by later for some wood smoked burgers.
She does.
We were together for three years.

.
But like most things in those early days of mine, I didn't know how good I had it.

Pardon the pun but she had your number. :)

I was at Universal Studios Monday and Tuesday. Some photo-ops don't have a guide to help folks fall in line.

I had to speak up a lot since I didn't want my children thinking cutting in was ok, things like, "Sir/Ma'am, there's a line over here." Or sometimes more rudely, "Don't you people know how to fall in line?"

I don't know if they just didn't notice the line or they just don't care.

LOL..........she had more than my number, brother!!!
I often think of her and what a royal dumb ass I was in those younger days.
She had a great deal to offer and I was unconscious.
No other way to say it.

Autozone and Advanced are the worst. It is so random with their lay-out, you never know which register to step up to--sometimes there are people just mulling around, this could easily be solved by having a short roped area like at a bank--next open register, step up. Going on a Saturday really tests my patience.

My pet peeve at auto parts stores is when the person working the counter takes a call and starts looking up parts and prices while everyone in line just stands there...

Well said!

Yes I was taken in by beauty so much in my younger days(after all I was a Greek god then). My youth extended up to about 40 years old. After that I focused more on a woman's personality. Or I think I did....

Exactly!! Have been next up and the cashier will answer the phone and spend 5 minutes looking up prices for someone who doesn't want to drive there. GRRR!

'Twas the same for me. I was well tanned, fit, was ranked 13th on the N. Cal tennis pro circuit, clothes model for Fiorucci in SF occasionally, had my own successful business, etc. But as aware of my own self as ball peen hammer.
.
Around 45 - 50 I awakened (long story, I had no choice), and now I look for character in a woman...what her particular bag of skin looks like means very little to me now.
.
Life is much better these days...but I missed out on a couple of wonderful women back in my youth...and she was one...I see that now.

Big difference if you ask then to demand. I have no problem allow people to go ahead if I had a shopping cart full and they only have few items.

If someone cuts in front of you in line all you have to do is monkey-roll ;)

Agree. It must be policy. The chumps in line are already in the bank.

Last time I was in Venezuela was in about 2001, a friend and I went to Merida (a large city in the southwest) for the weekend. Pico Bolivar, the highest peak in the country, has a cable car that runs from near the summit to the center of town. My friend and I were coming back from a couple of days at an inn up in the mountains and taking the cable car back into town. We get off at the next station and wait for a car to come up from below. Meanwhile, another car coming from above arrives, so there are a bunch of people waiting for the next car. There is a roped-off line area to wait for the next car; car arrives, everyone piles in in a mad rush. Except my friend, who was expecting some sort of neat, orderly line (he should have known better, he had been in the country for months at that point). I get on, he doesn't. I wait for him at the next station and he is fuming because that isn't the way it's supposed to be, dammit. Spends the whole day fuming about it. I wonder how someone who is so this-is-how-things-should-be has made it this long in a country like Venezuela. Of course they weren't going to board in an orderly line, silly!

His day didn't get any better, as he got arrested that night on the bus back to Caracas.

Sadly there is a lot of line-waiting there these days. People do it because they have to.

Should have squared up and ordered first.
first world problems...
