the Business Card.
i have 200 business cards ordered.
![]() they feel like a damn dinosaur item. ( i should have ordered them up on a payphone or faxed in the order.) my boss asked me to get them because since i moved i've noticed that the older contractors still ask for one from me. old school up here in the country. when they hand me one, i snap a pic of the card and toss it. last time i had a business card, i moved offices the following month and i burned them. 19 years ago. do you still have a business card?

I've stopped ordering them - guaranteed a few weeks after getting them SOMETHING will change and make them inaccurate.
In fact, I got a new box in December. In January they changed my title, and Monday I moved my offices. At least name, email, and phone are still correct... |

Business cards remain the Magnificent Anachronism in business. We only have them because when somebody wants one, it is best to be able to provide one.
Ours are as basic as can be. They are nearly free.

Yes I still have business cards and go through at least 200 a year.
I also have a card rolodex and a rodgers card index which I use almost daily. It helps that I work in an industry that is still fairly traditional and conservative (good IMO). |

I have a box I ordered from Moo that set me back nearly $1.00 per card. They are fantastic. I'm very proud of them, but am too cheap to hand any out ![]()

I still use them. People in my business come up with some creative cards, mine are a bit sedate. Besides, what else would I put in my "turbo intercooler" business card case I picked up from Pelican at German Autofest?

I stopped using Business Cards. Seems the name of the company changes faster than I can give out the cards.

I've gotten to the point where I can create a sort of arcane business card and people will save it. The point is not the card, but what it gives the recipient when you hand it to them.

I make my own cards using Microsoft Publisher. Never had a need to have a whole box of them so just make them 30 or so at a time. I like being able to tweak the design here and there at a whim.
Quite a while back I met a person who gave me his digital business card - which I thought was pretty cool. I still have it along with a bunch of blank mini-discs I never did anything with. Cool concept though.... ![]()

I sent a letter to Buck Knives once. The reply was from Chuck Buck, who sent back a typed letter, and his business card, which was printed on wood!

Found that in the orient they always put information on both the front and back of their cards. Since then have always put "(see other side)" with the parenthesis in the middle on the back of my cards.
Also only put company name, company tag line, name, email, phone, and a photo on my cards. ![]() Because I only put basic contact info people always look at the back of the card. Tell them if they need any more info, call or email me and I will text or email it to them so they don't have to type to add it to their address book.

I reluctantly ordered 200 cards at the beginning of the year- I plan on retiring in 35 months and I'm sure the stack will last beyond that. I still have a Rolodex but I try to use Outlook as much as possible.

It's been a while since I've been to Japan on business. But, I've found that ordering a box before visiting there was always a requirement. I wonder if things are still the same???
First time I've seen that video...LOL "...oh my god...it even has a watermark..."

Business cards are fantastic in business meetings. Arrange them like a score card so you can instantly tell who each person is at the table.
