Does this Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren make you want one?

More of the video shows some laps of it on the track and some walk around footage. If you want to see the goods forward the video to 1:48. This Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren comes equiped with a Mansory body kit and a few more goodies. Just listen to that supercharged V8 rumble. What do you think? Share with us below!

Nope. It is a neat car, just not my style.

I don't understand the love of burnouts. It is dumber than drifting and that is hard to exceed. Just destroying tires while going slow or not moving much at all is just too stupid to imagine.

Going through a 40 MPH corner at 39.9 MPH is way more fun.

Different strokes for different folks. Stay off my lawn!

Absolutely no desire to possess. Lovely to look at though...

Where I live, Palm Desert, I see at least one of those everyday. Along with McLaren 720S', Aston Martin DB9s and Bentley GTs are everywhere...like Ford Taurus's's's!
Not the least bit interested in any of them other than looking at them. I get much more excited seeing an early 911 or 356!

This times ten thousand... this why I can't stand the gas money guys... they build some cool cars but apparently they ultimate test of any car is doing smoky donuts in the parking lot.

If I were a rich man yes, the SLR McLaren would be on my list... but at that price point there would be some interesting competition.

For some reason Mercedes never gets their cars to sound like a proper V8 to me. It sounds like a 9 year old imitating a good V8.

Even if it sounded good it wouldn't be my type of car regardless of how much money was sitting in the bank. Well, maybe if I had a hundred or so other cars. Nope. Still not for me.

Ugly. Sounds like a small block Chevy with an exhaust leak.

My wife's new C300 Coupe is just stellar. What a joy to drive.

I don't like the black wheels or the horrid body kit on the SLR, which by itself is a beautiful car.

I like my old grandpa Benz coupe instead.

Maybe no.

But a McLaren 720S might make you feel like your shlong is like 10 feet long.

I hear that. My BIL has a the C-Class AMG and loves it. My SL was in the midst of the Chrysler era (2006). I'm sure they've improved them, but still have a bad taste in my mouth from it.

I like the original but I don't like the modified version. The original was a sexy combination of elegance and brawn. The modified version is the car equivalent of mistaking slutty for sexy and slapping on a dancer outfit and garish makeup.
