Dixon gets the pole, then get robbed.

After Dixon gets the Indy pole, he and Dario Franciti go to the local Taco Bell just down the street from the track. They order a meal and then 2 thugs, 14 and 15 year old kids pull a gun on them and rob them. The police caught them, but WTF is this world coming to. This area is in decline, just a strongs throw from this historic track. For all of you coming to town for the race, pack something other than a chicken basket.

Naw, a public defender will weave a sad tale of a society against them, and it will be probation plus time served.

It's been a few years, but that area was not good at all the last time was there. Not sure why it's surprising at all. I rode the bus from downtown Indy out to the track and it was an eye opening experience coming from Seattle.

Luckily, he only got the pole. He could have gotten shafted.

Its Indy car which is why they were at Taco Bell.

If this were F1 it would have been a Michelin stared restaurant.

Its a fiscal issue.

LOL! Somehow I doubt there is a taco bell in Monaco.

Welcome to the diversity of the diminished welfare state.

Going to see a lot of this. Here in Huntsville (Madison County), Alabama, we now have at least one murder a day. Was maybe one a week prior to January. Most are black on black, but the crime rate in the suburbs has tripled, still black on black, but now is spread out to the 'nice' areas.

I'm legally packing, and no longer go out at night. I'd really not have to deprive some criminal of his life and ill-gotten financial gains simultaneously.

Have no idea how bad it's going to get, but it looks like it's going to be a long, hot summer.

It's still not in a good area. I drove through there last summer and was glad Indiana accepts my CCW.
