He played at my college back in the day. His style was way beyond what I was used to hearing in a guitarist.

In fact he passed about a month ago.
Sadly, he did not have the financial success his off-the-charts talent warranted. His family ran a gofundme to cover his funeral expenses. Allan Holdsworth Fans Pay for His Funeral
