As an aside, I just clicked on the thread paying no attention to who posted it.
As I scrolled down the pictures, I saw the water behind your daughter, the saltbox- esque type beach house, then the trees on the side of the road, then the hood of the car, and thought...

"The beach" there and 'the beach" here look quite a bit different.
Our beach is made of sand. Lots of it.

In the "relax you're at the beach" pic, we have a nice sandy beach just at the end of our lawn, but the distant land (at the ocean) is the north end, backside of Cavendish beach which is a pretty nice beach. About 5 miles by road. We're in New London bay. BTW Homer and Waldo,(cousins on my wife's side) not everyone sees them, and some who do are reluctant to mention it. I'm glad you noticed, and BTW you saw me too.
