Is there a market for Taxidermied fish?

So back when I was living in OK I landed a pretty sizeable stripped bass on a trip and had it mounted. Now that I'm in AZ I've been told it doesn't go with the decor of the house. . I don't have a man cave so it's just been sitting on a shelf for the last 3.5 years

Are these things worth anything? I don't even know where I'd begin to try to sell it.

I searched taxidermy fish on eBay and apparent there is a market out there.

But does the fish sing?

It was your pet. You loved it soo much had it stuffed to keep around for the fond memories.
Then ask her what type of mounting she would like if you out-live her.

Maybe hit up the local sporting goods stores? Would make a nice display in the fishing section and maybe they can give you a store credit.

Worth a shot. It's a nice 30" striper. Big fat one too.

Does it go with the decor in your office?

I bet it does.

There's certainly a market for animal mounts, just go shopping on the Jackson square in Wyoming. There's likely a cabin in search of a fish mount for the wall too.

You can weld! Just make a stand that attaches to your desk with a few deck screws or self tapping screws and duck tape. Don't bother to paint the stand, some good "patina" is the new in thing. Done. It will be the only one there and everyone will be jealous.

Oh, and a friend's mother buys stuff like this by the truckload at estate sales. I hear she still has some room in her garage...

At the offices I don't work in since I work from home, art and/or decorations have to be approved before being put on display.

Went to the office for a meeting. Was informed that am to put my cell phone on vibrate before entered the building. Wouldn't want to disturb anyone.
