Woman jumps out of her car to escape thugs...
...who had already threatened to kill her, carjacked her, made her get money out of the ATM, and told her she would be raped next.
They had been on a 6-7 day crime spree in the area where this occurred. They began by robbing delivery drivers. Oh, yeah... one of the reasons she was able to get away is these losers couldn't drive her car... it was a manual.  The sheriff's officers have now apprehended all 3 perps. Under questioning, they said they were only targeting "white people." Said they didn't like white people.  This story is local and one of the really cool things about it is that Criminal Justice is her major. Story here... including video of Jordan telling how it happened... I would say she's very lucky but the reality is she's very brave. Luck had nothing to do with it. Here's hoping that her story gets other people her age to think about it .
And hopefully, the three worthless little ****s that precipitated all of this will never see the light of day again. |

These three worthless little pricks actually did have a black woman who was one of their victims and they released her as soon as they figured out that she was black.
You have to wonder how stupid you would have to be, if you were a black person, to not be able to tell the difference between a black woman and a white woman. Having said that, if you add up the IQs of all three of these little ****s, you might not bust 100. I think it's a shame that they didn't manage to kidnap someone with a concealed carry permit. |

Yeah, we're tough on crime here... and this County Sheriff's Department is top notch. It is rare they don't catch who they're looking for.
This is from earlier in the story and shows clips of the press conference with the Sheriff explaining about these thugs' targeting based on race and Jordan speaking about her mom. At this point, they weren't even releasing her last name, which I thought was smart. I don't know why they did (later), I guess it was probably all over social media, so it seemed useless to try. Jordan, a criminal justice major, credits her school work thinking through scenarios with her ability to think and act quickly in this situation. "I proved to myself that I can do it," she said.
"You can calm down. You can make smart decisions. You just have to get inside your own head," she said. One other thing was critically important to Jordan as she processed her situation and the threat of sexual assault. "I thought back to my mom. She was almost sexually assaulted in college, but she fought back," Jordan said. "I thought, I'm going to be like my mom and I'm going to get out of this," she said. Sheriff Lott credits the victims, who he described as helpful and observant, with providing valuable information, and said investigators have forensic evidence.
