Finally kicked VZW to the curb
Finally disconnected from the behemoth. Tired of the overage fees on my data. 12gb of 4G data w/StraightTalk for half my VZW bill. Works just fine. Now I can drop the microphone.

In the Washington Metro area - VZN rules..........unfortunately. But at least their fees and service costs are now more in line with others. I can get a dial tone in the basement of a secure facility with VZN...................anyone else..........um no.
BTW - VZN sells their lower tier services to all of the other guys

How do you use 12GB ??
I have 2GB/mo. and have never gone over. My bill is $55/mo. Very happy. Best reception.

I have 1GB data and free calls/SMS within Telekom and home (all four family members have Telekom) for 10 Euro per month. Usually use half of the data. |

Yes it is! We were shocked when we left the US to move to Germany how cheap phone and data is here. We went from $130/month for 5gb (I think) on a family plan with 1 smart and 2 regular phones to 10 Euro per month per phone for unlimited talk and text and I think a gig of data. Works fine for us... oh, and it's pay as you go, so no contracts. We keep an extra old iPhone and just charge its battery and its data and hand it to friends and family when they come visit. It's only got two contacts (my wife and I) and pertinent apps to help navigate the area. Works pretty well.

I'd love to switch to another carrier but VZ owns my area. No other service has the coverage.

I have VZW on a prepaid for 40 4G, Unlimited and 2GB. or is it now 3 GB...which is more than plenty. No taxes either.
I don't want no stinkin contracts nor an 800 phone...fk that and the horse it rode in on.
