I've not used those specific ones, but I've never found the ones I have used to be effective.

I have two in my garages.
No mice issues. Can't say the same for my neighbors.

I've tried several different brands of these things over the years. They were cheap, so not much money lost. No effect what so ever. I read some of the Q's & A's on that link as well as some of the reviews. What total BS. I think the reviews were similar to oil testimonials you see where people claim to run vehicles for 100K miles without changing.

I hear these. Some anyway on my bike commute through the neighborhood. Make sure they are way past the frequency range of a human ear or you may get complaints from neighbors.
I also think they are a joke but YMMV!? G |

I have a big cottonwood tree in my back yard. A great horned owl roosts in the top of that tree, you can hear it hooting around 11pm.
The other night my Golden was in the back yard and making a weird sounding bark. It wasn't the go way bark or the hello barks she usually makes. And inbetween the barks the owl was sitting on a brick post for the stockade fence hooting back at her. Think they were discussing who who who had hunting rights over the back yard and at what times. Have not seen any rodents, bugs, snakes, or lizards. There is a rabbit I've seen in the front yard, but there used to be two.
