Car bags aren't anything new. I keep my Speedster in one over the winter. You throw several bags of dessicant onto the floorboards and roll the car into the bag, suck most of the air out with a vacuum cleaner, and seal the end by laying a bead of RTV and clamping it between 2 1x2s. You have to cut the end with the RTV seal off when you open it, so it gets about 2" shorter every year, but I've been using mine for 10 years and the car still fits.
