A new used suv for the daughter..
Went to look over a 2014 Infiniti QX50 today at the Lexus dealership. It had a flat battery so will try again on Monday.
When I go next I will take my daughter and I know she will be interested in a 2010 Mercedes GLK they have there. They also have a 2011 Lexus RX350 with navigation and backup camera. 60k miles. They also have a VW Tiguan used. Could I get your thoughts from a mechanics perspective on these four cars. Not much warranty left(or none ) on any of them. |

I have a Nissan Murano and had a RX330. The build quality on the Lexus is much better than the Nissan. The Infiniti has higher quality materials than the Nissan, but the Lexus is still better. The Lexus was dead nuts reliable, and corporate support is fantastic.
My Lexus had two warranty extensions; one for headlight fogging (condensation), and the other was for dash replacement (high heat/humidity deteriorates the materials). The headlights were replaced when the RX was 11 years old, and the dash just came in...after an 18 month wait on parts. The RX is now 13 years old. Get the Lexus.
