Not kinda cool, very cool! I would like to see one in person, as I have never seen anything other than pictures...

I would have more fun using that for work rather than the ford 9n I currently use

If you are ever in Jacksonville, Florida - Brumos has one on their showroom.

There have been a couple on CL in the minneapolis area recently.
If I recall correctly, in the $7-$9k range.

Someone posted one for sale here just the other day. Wanted huge money for it but it was mint.

Found it
FS: A very rare Porsche... Tractor! Volk-Schlepper content inside!

This was one of 5 tractors restored by high schoolers in our area as part of an annual competition. Lots of work by the kids to get them to show room shape. Makes you realize there are still kids out there that want to get their hands dirty to get the job done.

As my son and his buddy who restored the tractor were walking off the stage after the awards ceremony at the fair, gentleman walked up and offered him $10K for it on the spot.

Looks great! The 9n does it's job just fine for me. It seems like it has more than the 23 HP it has (had)

This one was on E Bay a week or two ago- didn't get any bids opening at $15K.

Same photos & description.

That is a beautiful old Porsche Jr. A neighbor down the road who restores Massey Harris tractors got his hands on a Porsche Jr. a few years ago. Couldn't get it running so let the local Community College auto class work on it. They got it going for about 60 seconds...before it threw the rod.
He parked it on his lawn for another year before he sold it.

Sad little tractor.

I've wondered about these for a while now. 4 variations: Junior (1 cyl.), Standard (2 cyl.), Super (3 cyl.) and Master (4 cyl.).

A Junior and a Super for size comparison:

Timely thread, what I spent today working on. Not a porsche , but cool nonetheless.

Your son did a great job fixing it up. Do you use it now? Those things were made to work.
It looks like a 2N rather than a 9N. It has most of the 2N features on it, but then a lot of 9Ns were updated with 2N parts.

There is a guy in Akron OH that has the largest collection of Porsche tractors in the country!

Those are cute little tractors.

I like the wagon in the first pic. It must be for hay rides.
