Porsche owners should leave this to the professional Mustang drivers.

HOW
do you even do that in a Boxster or Cayman.. IN A STRAIGHT LINE ?!!!

I can barely get mine to slide with the PSM off in the wet, never mind in the dry.
And when you do, it's so predictable, i mean, let off the gas and it settles

One must be a skilled driver to purchase a Boxster.

Must be a Mustang driver that put on some super-slippery tyres for crowd-plowing.

That's a real shame for the folks that were hit. At least the Porsche driver should have insurance.

It sucks that it was a late model Boxster Spyder. Don't those come with a 3.8L?

In the video that I posted it looked like the guy pulled out, but if it was a late model Spyder, don't those have a 3.8L? If so, I wouldn't be at all surprised. Hell, my '08 Box S will spin the tires on heavy acceleration in a straight line.

Too much coffee.

Maybe he was going way too fast and that white car (BMW?) pulled out in front of him and he swerved+braked to hard.

But it's easy to catch if it goes wrong, just ease off and it snaps back in line
at least mine does

True, assuming the PSM is still on. But with the PSM still on, It won't get nearly that out of sorts.

Other than the injuries to the folks that were hit, it's a shame that a Spyder was lost.

I guess the good news is that it looks like the engine is probably still salvageable.

This is why the organizers of our local cars and coffee requested the police to attend. Nothing kills an event quicker than people getting hurt.

The audiences aren't exactly brilliant either...standing in danger spots, then encouraging the hooning, cell phones ready to record.
