Are you able to edit old posts ?

I retired a photo hosting site and was trying to edit some old posts of mine (mostly one backdating thread that was well documented), so I could repoint the pictures to the new location. To my surprise there is no edit button... Same user name...
On my recent posts I can edit, on those old ones (10y ago?) nada.. Is this normal? Anything I can do ?

That's normal. There's a time limit to editing posts. 10 years ago is well over but I don't know what that time limit is.

Thanks, I've contacted a moderator (at random), I'd like to be able to repoint pics, it was a decent thread ;-)

May the fleas of a thousand camels infest those photobucket people...

True. Although in my case 100% self inflicted, using a webhosting site that got more and more expensive as years went by.

Ironically I'm finding out sites like IMGUR and Google Photos are total crap at finding photos by their name (IMG_0001.jpg), they rock at finding "squirrel on a Bday cake" but basic find under file name, zero !!! (or in google 's case, very hit and miss)

I'd rehost on pelican but I think it's too late, uploads only works on fresh posts...
