I pop into parf sub forums in the 2-3 primary websites I participate in. I enjoyed the varied perspectives. However, PP's is by far the worst. These forms are by nature for the thick skinned, but pelican's is by far the most juvenile. So if this thread is for name calling I am calling 99.84% of parf poopieheads and agreed to not bring the nonsense into the other forums (except for this thread, have a ball).

I look at PARF occasionally. There are maybe half a dozen or so names I just skip over when I see them. Don't bother reading what they post. They are generally people I'd avoid if I knew who they were and saw them on the street. Very limited intellect, views, & probably ways of approaching life & people in general. Very distasteful.

Once in a while there is actually a decent conversation for page or two, then, as you say, the usual suspects start throwing turds and it devolves into the SOS.
