Is it insulting to ask questions that lead to your realization of the reasons that Americans are less than impressed with the French.
I for one, do not like reading inflammatory trash that bashes my country and the people within it. It is not BULLYING to stand up and DEFEND yourself and your country... oh wait, I'm sorry, I forgot who I was talking to. As for you calling me moronic, is that not an insult my witty French "friend"? If you feel happy that you were able to instill a miniscule amount of anger in me, congratulations. In case you haven't noticed, it is not in our nations or our nations citizens nature to shrink from a fight. Oops, I'm sorry, I did it again. I guess if you say I am moronic, it must be true. I'll return the diplomas, and ask for a demotion and a pay cut. Back to moronic, tell us again about how the Pentagon attacked itself with a cruise missile. ![]() Speaking of bigger pictures, and naïvetés . . . I have noticed that slowly, over the weeks, your argument have eroded. In fact, I have noticed that they have eroded so much that you have had to "go" overtly inflamitory on quite a few posts . . . just so you can prop up the notion that you've just been trolling all along. Well, I say keep up the good work. Your posts have been increasingly good at demonstrating that the only way someone could be against this forced regime change, is if they are A COMPLETE WHACK-JOB! ![]() So yeah, keep on controlling us . . .your really winning your case . . really! And the "anti-war" folks are proud of your prowls.

Dr. Island,
Once again, you are the KING! ![]() Your written POWER of dominating the nonsense spewers on this board has reached legendary proportions. Aurel is probably so excited to immediately surrender to you that he is wetting himself in anticipation, LOL Blowing nonsense out of the water with straight thinking and facts sure tends to cause alot of these off-topic threads to wither. Below I will quote one of Aurel's funniest comments, sadly though he doesn't realize how ridiculous this statement is. If he knew how silly he sounded, he would throw up his hands and say.... well, you know what he would say, "I surrender", it's hereditary. Aurels quote: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Who sent planes on the WTC ? Islamic fundamentalists ? That is what they want you to beleive. . . .. Also, how could a plane crash on the Pentagon, probably the most protected place on earth, without being intercepted ??? Hey, was it even a plane after all ? Not debris have been found whatsoever, the hole does not fit with the size. I mean, really, it could have been a cruise missile. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The hole does not fit with the size???!!!!! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha I'd be interested to know how they determined what size hole an airplane would make if it hit the Pentagon. What size hole is consistent with an airplane hitting a building that is constructed like no other building on earth? What other examples did they use to establish this theory?. Are there some extensive studies that investigated what size holes planes of different sizes would make after hitting a building that was constructed like the Pentagon? That is just way too funny. If that loony French authors theory didn't have enough holes in it already, this alone would be enough to discount the entire theory. Aurel asks, "Hey, was it even a plane at all?" Like he's "subtly" trying to provoke some of us to think of other possibilities. Oh my goodness, maybe he is right, maybe it wasn't a plane at all. Judging by the size of the hole in the Pentagon, my theory is that it was a crow that had just eaten a burrito ![]() Last edited by racea911; 03-27-2003 at 12:08 AM.. |

Now racea911..that was a beautiful statement you just made. That really shows your level of education. You think you didn't come from a immigrant family? Why don't you go and look up your family tree, your grandfather or great grandfather might have been from France or some other European countries... speaking of dumba$$, when I see white trash comments like this, that's when I want to give up my US citizenship... Axeman,
Did you not read the comments that preceded my post? I was referring to the fact that Aurel made some comments that could easily be considered semi-looney. My comments were also made in a half way joking manner, I thought that would be obvious to some of the "sharper crayons in the box". Either they were semi joking, or I am klansman. Which is more likely? Of course I realize that my family also immigrated to this country. I spoke to my grandmother about this all the time. She immigrated from Europe. She loved the United States or better yet, I would say she almost worshipped the United States. She was thankful for the freedoms and the opportunity this country provided, and that I think is the major difference. She would get so upset when people would make ignorant, negative comments about the country she so dearly loved. I don't like reading about people who immigrate here, bash the United States and talk about how great their old country was. That is the sign of someone who does not appreciate what this country is all about. As for my education level, that is probably an area you don't want to challenge me on, unless you are feeling very brave. As for being white trash, that's interesting, I had never considered that possibility before. Keep in mind, I may consider you white trash, judging by your previous posts and interests. As a matter of fact, I know that Dr. Island has appreciated my posts in the past. I have read his posts in the past as well as your posts and I have to say, I am much happier that someone on his intellectual plane would see where I am coming from as opposed to someone on your intellectual plane. Racea911,
Thanks for the clarification. Here's my side of the story.. I am 1/2 american, 1/2 French and even have some Middle-Eastern in my family. I have lived in France, Germany, US, Middle-East, speak 4 languages fluently and I truly am sad when I hear most US Citizen bash every country when they've never even stepped out of their *****hole farm. After all, the average American, before this war couldn't even have pointed Baghdad on a map to save their life! Everyone one in this world knows that Americans are brainwashed by medias and will believe anything their TV will show them, this is a fact and not fiction. I still laugh at the fact that 300 million sheep in this country were shown the events on 9/11, with 2 planes crashing in those buildings, and not a single person even questioned the fact that they collapsed straight down (like with explosive charges)..and just by coincidence, the same company that picked up the leftovers in Oklahoma showed up, picked everything up and sent everything to China. The media also reported for weeks that the temperature got up tp 800 degrees in those buildings which melted the steel support. Well, in the 20th century steel melted at 1500 degrees, I guess those "vilain arabs" are pretty damn smart because they have now have found a way to "suspend the laws of physics" in the 21st century and make steel melt at 800 degrees! Just once in your life you need to wonder if everything on TV is real or not and question things, put that damn remote down along with the popcorn, the burger and your budweiser and try to think with your brain, not your remote control. Now you say also the US is great because "they can kick everyone's a$$"..if that's what you call "culture", I wipe my a$$ with that culture. War and destruction has never made anyone great..bigger empires have fallen through history..so don't think that everything lasts forever. Good day... |

Please tell me more. . .. and are you saying the media screwed up the temp's by saying only 800°, when they should have said 1500°+ ? Or, are you saying, explosive charges must have been used because the temp's from the planes couldn't have done it alone?

So the MEDIA said the temperature got up to 800 degrees. I guess it's ok to use the US media reports as fact when it supports the basis for your conspiracy theories, but we can't believe them for anything else?
At the heart of so many of these verbal attacks, lies the conspiracy theorist waiting to spew. Which media should we believe Axeman? How about Al Jazeera? I have no patience for conspiracy theorists, nor do they deserve any. |

The whole "brainwashed by medias" argument had much more traction back "pre-internet" when the number of sources were limited and more tightly controlled. Now, the only way to impose any control over communications is the Saddam method of heavy penalties to those with satellite dishes et al. . . or to do like the US forces and just turn off their channels for them. How much spliced together segments of Saddam rhetoric can those people take anyway? -- it's inhuman.

You are absolutey right, conspiracy theorists or anyone else for that matter who doesn't agree with what's said on TV, do not deserve our time or patience. After all, there are only 2 types of people, the vilains and the US who is here to bring peace, harmony and hamburgers to the galaxy...now let's just go back to watching that TV...Hand me that remote, will you? I believe

No patience!? . . Axeman, I had just asked you to clarify your statements.
Though now I have had enough info from you. . . .you clarified w/o trying. I can tell you, from both a strategical/logical AND a Mechanical Engineering perspective that those planes were entirely responsible for the collapse of the WTC Towers. strategical/logical: If you have the ability to place charges, there is NO, ZERO, ZIP, NADDA, reason to fly a plane in to them. Mech. Egr (in lay terms): The first attempt (garage bomb) was similar to the second. By undermining the structure, the weight above becomes the crushing force. This is just how the pro-demo guys do it. (Neither my Mech Egr degree, nor my logic skills came from the media . . .how about yours!?) I would say your “French half” is showing. . .you might want to cover that up. ![]()

Aurel,
Your respect is something that means absolutely nothing to me. Thanks for the "buffon" comment. Psst, when you insult someones intelligence, it is more effective if you actually can spell the insult correctly. I believe you were the one who was getting whiney about me insulting you while you were simultaneously insulting me. I see you are continuing to talk out of both sides of your mouth. My comment as to my education was not in response to you, it was in response to Axeman. Axeman questioned my intelligence. Try a little harder to follow along. Maybe I will earn your respect? Oh man, that is absolutely hilarious that you could think that I would give a rats a$$ about what you think. Could I provide you with my credentials? Could I list my contributions to the world? Of course I will. That's what everyone else on here has done including you, right? The "Buffon" Last edited by racea911; 03-27-2003 at 02:57 PM.. |

I'm always learning. . .
Apparently racea911's credentials are in biology, zoology, and comparative anatomy. ![]() ![]() ![]() Apparently Aurel has stooped to new lows, going around calling people French! ![]() Buffon (b›-fôn), Comte Georges Louis Leclerc de. 1707-1788. French naturalist whose monumental Histoire Naturelle (36 volumes, 1749-1788; 8 additional volumes completed by assistants and published in 1804) laid the foundation for later studies in biology, zoology, and comparative anatomy.

I know, LOL! I need to finish working on payroll or my employees won't have paychecks tomorrow. Do you know how hard it is to keep a Buffon factory going if you don't pay the employees?
