The majority of my "clocks" that I rely on these days are on phones or PCs or tablets, so they change themselves.
I do actually have a mechanical watch. I just changed it about 10 mins ago. I also still have an alarm clock with red LEDs from about 1983 (alarm stopped working about 10 years ago, but the clock works just fine) that I have on my bedside. It's still working and is sentimental otherwise the wife would have done away with it a long time ago. I'll have to change that and then all of the crap in the kitchen.

I'm so jealous!!
I'd love it if next spring, we changed to DLST and then never changed back. I don't need/want the extra light in the morning. I'd prefer to have it in the evening.

Same here. Not a morning person at all. I try to be up at 8 AM. I too prefer evenings.

Why don't we split the difference and have the whole world step ahead a half hour?
I hate the springing forward part. DLST starts too early and goes on far too long for the people in more northern locations....

Don't bother worrying about the whole world. In China, they cover enough space for there to be five time zones, but they only have a single time zone so the folks on the far east side of the country have "normal" daylight hours, but the folks on the west side are screwed with wonky daytime (they just follow sunrise and sunset instead of worrying about what the clock says). Then there's India who's 30 mins different from most of the rest of the world, and then, Nepal, wanting to one-up India, has their time zone set 15 mins earlier than India. There are a handful of other countries and locations that have 30 or 45 min offsets from the rest of the world. Russia seems to make adjustments to their timezones and whether they follow DST every few years.

I wake early and go to bed early. Would rather have the daylight hours when I am awake.
Even going back to regular time, the winter sunrise is often after I arrive to work and the sun sets before I go home. I am no longer a workaholic and this still applies!

Since retiring I have trouble keeping up with what day it is. One hour one way or the other doesn't make that much difference to me.
Plus - and I saw this on tv so you know it's true - if God wants it to be midnight who are we to say it should be 1:00AM? You clock resetting people are all going to hell.

Why? I changed them last night. Do I have to change them again?

18 min 47 sec. Got it.
Why do I get the feeling I should also be doing a valve adjustment on my `87? (if you've never had the pleasure you might not understand)
