I was upset when Wheeler Dealers got rid of Ed, But I have to give this new guy credit. After watching 4 episodes of the new guy, he has won me over. He is a true mechanic and very talented. When he fabricated the sheet metal on the Saab and cut the Camaro bumpers for the Dodge van he made the show my favorite again.

Mitsubishi was the first one I liked. He actually fixed what was wrong. He also did not add wings to the rear deck. Getting better, for sure.

Two or three years ago, I had Velocity on all the time. I've since given up on it...I actually watch it zero! Just nothing of interest for me. Car and garage shows in general don't interest me all that much any more (maybe it became overly saturated as a genre)...anyway, it doesn't really get any better than Project Binky on YouTube!

I need a new career. So how's this for a TV show pitch? A show about the history of certain cars. For example, the VW beetle. You would talk about Hitler and Porsche, the vouchers for cars in the 30s, etc. Near the end of the show you would talk to aficionados of the vintage VW and look at a few examples. I'd watch that.
