I guess ill-fitting bras aren't limited to the fairer sex

Back in the mid to late 1980s when Bras were popular on cars I was on a fall trip with a group of Porsche drivers. As the guys were all standing in line to check into the hotel the ladies waited by the cars. One guy behind me was chatting with one of the other drivers as I was getting checked in. The guy behind me had a loud voice and was telling the other driver "yea, my wife is in the parking lot washing the bra" and the other guy said his was washing bugs off of the bra they have. The clerk at the hotel was very confused. I told him I went bra-less.

People don't use these much any more but they do work really well on long trips. You'd be surprised how much damage you can do to the paint on the front of your car in a few hundred miles on a divided highway that has a concrete center barrier that tends to collect small rocks and other crap.

I still have one or two of these, although I have since sold the cars they were purchased for.. I guess I need to put them up for sale...

Idiot previous owner of my 911 kept a bra on it all the time.

Paint faded everywhere except UNDER the bra.

Idiot.

More the fool, I, because I didn't check it in good enough light to note the fading.

Is that a well set up 944?

I'd say no, that loose bra would be too much drag to be considered as well set up IMO.

Not well set up enough
If it had a proper rack it would fill out that bra

Actually, it looks like the bra was loosened in order to lift the hood, which is now partially closed.

Still, a fun thread.

Based on what appears to be creases on the front of the hood, I'd expect that bra is covering more bumper/body damage.
