AC/DC was my favorite band in high school. I love that Disney used Thunderstruck in Planes 2 because it was my son’s favorite song for a while...

I'm glad I saw them when I did. It will never be the same. They lost George Young earlier, now Malcolm. They inspired me to play guitar. Meaning, all I know is 3 chords.... lol. Great band, great music. RIP

Hah, its all in how those 3 chords get played. Best rhythm guitarist in the business.

The first concert I ever went to was AC/DC "Back in Black". Everything was pretty much downhill from there. I have been a huge AC/DC fan since early in the Bon Scott days when my friend's older brother came home with the "High Voltage" album. Malcolm's sound was so integral to what made AC/DC great. I was always amazed at his use of open chords and how they... OK, rambling now.
RIP.

Haha! Same for me! It's great when the 3yo want to hear Thunderstruck in the car!

I saw them 3 other times after, but the one that killed me was in 2009, Gillette stadium (home of the Patriots!!) 2 guys standing next to me.... AC/DC starts playing "hells bells" and I yell over, "I remember them playing this song in 1980, for the first time!!!" one of the guys says, "I'm only 23 years old!!!" I never felt so old...
