Looking for workspace in Miami to rebuild 3.2 eng & trans
Few years back I moved into condo. Great stuff except HOA is crazed about cars being worked on in condo's garage for anything other than emergencies. A rebuild... selling that to management as an "emergency" is not happening. So...
Am looking to hook up with local Pelican to do a trade. You provide the space to work in and I'll: show you how to rebuild air cooled engine & trans, provide us the necessary tools (you'll need your own engine stand and chems), and, I know the outside resources necessary to deal with whatever machining is needed. To get this done in a reasonable time frame we need to be on it at least 5 days a week, 8 hours daily. If you're already working an 8 hour job... it would be a show & tell---still a valuable experience for someone wanting to follow a Porsche engine & trans rebuild firsthand. However long it takes... it is what it is. There's no rushing anything. Space must be inside (not a covered porch), clean, adequate space, have workbench with large vice, be lockable, and preferably in Coconut Grove. Car can sit outside if needed---covered. If you like the idea or know of someone who would... please PM me.
