Elissa.....Wow This Is Hard
 

Lung transplant is no longer an option. Her raging infection is Resistant to all known drugs and all of the Special cocktails have done nothing to make her any better. The plan is to stop all medications and bring her home tomorrow on hospice care .They estimate 30-60 days. I have to thank you all for your support and all of your kind words. Gary Sharon and Elissa

Sad news, Gary. Elissa is a fighter, as you have shown us many times here. You did everything possible. There is a special place in heaven for parents like you, and I'm sure for Elissa too. God Bless you.

All I can do is weep thinking of my own girls. Your strength is incredible, and I hope that should I ever be in a situation such as yours that I have the dedication, compassion and love that you have shown us here.
