Pot of Venison chili on the stove

And the house smells good!

I can't wait. Actually, I may not. I'll probably have a little taste in a bit, but the flavor is always so much better the next day.

It was 3.3# of venison, and I think it'll make about 6 quarts of chili.

I'll be making some soon. I usually do turkey.

At a recent club meeting at a members house they served Elk chili. It was tasty. She thought she had made enough to have leftovers. We all had seconds so there was not much left.

save some of that chili to top off some hotdogs.

You know, I do love cornbread and we have an awesome recipe, but I've never been in the habit of eating cornbread with chili.

I do love chili dogs and chili cheeseburgers and chili cheese fries, but I never do that with any of my chili. Just a bowl, some chili and a bunch of cheese.
