Are old models worth anything?
Dug these out of the attic.

Almost certainly yes.
"Watch" similar models on eBay and see what they go for.

Those '65 Impala convertibles in the first photo are promotional models, which were handed out by dealerships to buyers/customers as favors/incentives.
My uncle sold Chevies, Olds, and Caddies and I remember he gave me a '56 to play with. I don't remember what happened to it or when, but I probably tore it up by the time the '58s came out. You should be able to find a pretty good indication of their value by checking ebay. I'm sure they're worth more if you have the boxes. Wow, check this out: That seller has lots of dealer promo models of all types: None of that other stuff is worth much of anything unless someone needs it for parts. That red '57 looks like a Cox .049 powered tether racing model. I have an old Chaparral 2C with the same undercarriage/engine someone gave me.

Not bad for a 1954 model. Well maintained.
Check out the 2017 Sports illustrated spread thread where she is 63. https://www.si.com/swimsuit/model/christie-brinkley/2017/photos#1

The WenMac Chevy gasser will easily bring $100-200 if it is the gas-powered version and is complete. The friction-drive version is probably $40-50.

Great ad. My dad must have bought it from that very one as I also got the visible V8. It is the gas powered version but I actually never mounted it so I guess it ha an NOS engine. Thanks

Somewhere in my closet, I have a bunch of my old models, and a couple of my Uncle's old models from the 50s. I'll have to dig those out.

I have had these and more for twenty years and never had them out of the box. I thought I would build them but the more I looked at them I liked them just fine untouched.
Lots of tin toys and die cast formula cars out of the box once. Closet filler. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Dean, Those unbuilt Revival kits would be easy to sell. I wouldn't be surprised if someone made an offer here.

some of them are still made but I don't know if they are really the same, I haven't seen them in person. Some have different numbers on them now, I think the Alfa and maybe the Ferrari are different now. not sure if the quality is the same as twenty years ago. Since I had a Buick Turbo and a 71 455 Skylark I had a couple models.
