Crazy second half, I was standing most of the time, just could not sit down.

I was on an airplane traveling back to ATL and we got to the gate with @03:00 minutes left in the game and half of the passengers stayed on to watch the final minutes on the headrest TVs. (with the flight crew's blessing. The captain even came out and sat with us to watch it!)

I was rooting for the Saints. Of course, GF was wanting the Vikes to win. She was all bummed and on her way upstairs to make sandwiches: BOOM! Man was she happy.
Great game is right. |

I didn't care who won, but that was a very exciting finish.

Drew Brees is one cool dude I really thought the Saints had won that game . I watched to the end and could not believe that final play........great win for the Vikings . And how about the Jaguars/Steelers game ? Another thriller .

I had no skin in the game....so to speak, but was just watching as a football fan. These kind of games remind me why I like football. The Jags/Steelers game was a nail biter also. Never count out a team who is down in the 4th quarter.

Incredible finish! I’m rooting for the Vikings to have a home Super Bowl.

Pretty amazing.
Great to see Diggs make such a big play. I called my dad after the game, I was just blown away. I've cooled to the nfl lately, too much going on to watch, boring games... no more. I only saw the last ~10 min, I couldnt stay seated. |

At the age of 9 I was taught to always keep my head up and wrap the arms when tackling.
That technique helped prevent injuries and was more effective. It also prevented the would-be tackler from tackling air and looking like a complete idiot and ending his team-mates season and crushing their dreams. Maybe the NFL should hire little league coaches to teach their million dollar criminals how to play the game!!!! |

All th Saints DB had to do was grab him...not even tackle him. Game over. Almost looked like he missed him on purpose.

If Diggs had been tackled immediately, but was able to get out of bounds as he was hit, was there enough time on the clock to get a field goal off. He did catch it in field goal range, didn't he?

Yes - and at first that's what I thought was going to happen. I didn't realize there were no more defenders.....so Diggs headed for the end zone while we all just gasped....lol...

If I was an NFL head coach...I would require my offense to be in the two-minute drill for the whole game. Seems like if a team is leading at the end..it's a given that the other team will score within a minute. Makes the games entertaining. |
